YOUR ITINERARY
Days 1 & 2: UK to Singapore
Fly overnight to Singapore and transfer to the
4-star Carlton Hotel for 2 nights.
Day 3: Singapore
One of the most prosperous and dynamic
cities in the world, Singapore is full of
contrasts. Traditional food stalls sit beneath
towering glass skyscrapers and colourful local
markets vie for attention close to chic
designer boutiques. Visit Orchard Road the
city’s most famous shopping street, stop for a
Singapore Sling at the world-famous Raffles
Hotel and enjoy spectacular views of the city
from Mount Faber.
Day 4: Legend of the Seas
Transfer to the port to join Legend of the Seas
for the start of your cruise through the Strait of
Melaka into the Andaman Sea.
Day 5: At Sea
Day 6: Phuket, Thailand
The tropical beauty of Phuket Island draws
visitors from around the world. Enjoy the
watersports, leisure activities and shopping at
Patong Beach; head out to Phang Nga Bay to
see the sheer limestone cliffs that jut vertically
out of the emerald green water; or for a true
adventure, ride an elephant through the forest.
Day 7: Langkawi Island, Malaysia
Langkawi is the largest in an archipelago of
around 100 tropical islands off the northwest
coast of Malaysia. Rainforest reserves with
some of the world’s rarest and most beautiful
birds, waterfalls, mysterious caves and a huge
variety or marine life can all be discovered
as well as the more recent developments
of beach resorts and excellent duty-free
shopping.
Day 8: Singapore
Return to Singapore today for further sightseeing.
Perhaps visit the immaculate Botanic
Gardens; take a stroll through Chinatown and
Little India; explore the Colonial Quarter or
venture a little further afield to the beaches
and themed attractions of Sentosa Island. |

Day 9: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
There’s so much to see in Malaysia’s largest
city, dominated by the impressive spectacle of
the Petronas Towers, half a kilometre tall. A
good place to start is Merdeka Square, the
heart of the colonial quarter. Visit Masjid
Jamek, the city’s oldest surviving mosque;
admire the colonnades, cupolas and minarets
of one of the world’s grandest railway stations
and don’t forget the Lake Gardens, home to
the world’s largest covered bird park, an
orchid garden and planetarium.
Day 10: Penang, Malaysia
The island of Penang boasts charming colonial
architecture, ancient places of worship,
tropical fauna and flora, hillside retreats and
fantastic beaches. Take a Trishaw ride through
the colonial quarter of Georgetown; visit the
beautiful Botanical Gardens and learn the
traditional techniques of Batik painting using
wax and dyes.
Days 11: Singapore
Disembark in Singapore and transfer to the
4-star Carlton Hotel for 1 night.
Days 12: Singapore to Dubai
Fly to Dubai and transfer to the 4-star
Metropolitan Hotel for 4 nights.
Days 13 - 15: Dubai
Fine mosques, busy souks, silvery beaches and
some of the world’s best shopping malls can
all be found in Dubai, set on the Persian Gulf.
You’ll have plenty of time to explore the host
of attractions - get a glimpse of Old Dubai in
the Bastakiya district, shop for intricately
worked jewellery at bargain prices; visit the
Grand Mosque with the city’s tallest minaret
and over 50 domes; and take a thrilling drive
over the sand dunes in 4x4 vehicles to visit a
Bedouin village and experience the traditional
way of life in the desert.
Day 16: Dubai to the UK
Transfer to the airport for your return flight to
the UK. |
