Day 1: UK to New York
Fly to New York and transfer to a 4-star centrally located hotel for 2 nights. A New York CityPass is included during your stay.
Day 2: New York, USA
New York is without doubt one of the world’s most exciting cities. Enjoy excellent views over Manhattan from the Empire State Building; sail out to Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty; and don’t forget that the city is a shopper’s paradise. From the designer stores of Fifth Avenue and Macy’s, the largest department store in the world, to the markets of Greenwich Village, there’s something for everyone.
Day 3: Norwegian Dawn
Transfer to the port to join Norwegian Dawn for the start of your 7 night cruise.
Day 4: At Sea
Day 5: Halifax, Nova Scotia
This thriving port and elegant city boasts ultra-modern towers of glass and steel alongside historic 18th and 19th century architecture. Its narrow streets clamber up the steep hillside from the harbour, dominated by the star-shaped Citadel.
Day 6: Saint John, New Brunswick
We reach the ruggedly beautiful coastline of New Brunswick and the busy port of Saint John idylically set on the Bay of Funday where the dramatic tides draw an abundance of marine life into the bay, this is an ideal spot for whale-watching.
Day 7: Bar Harbor, Maine
Just off the Maine coastline lies Mount Desert Island and the beautiful town of Bar Harbor. Backed by the wonderful scenery of the Acadia National Park, this is wonderful walking country.

Day 8: Boston, Massachusetts
Rich in history, Boston is the cradle of American Independence. It’s a charming city of tree-lined streets where beautiful town houses lit by old fashioned gas lamps contrast with the high-rise buildings dominating the skyline and the harbour. Relive history at the Boston Tea Party ship and museum; visit Paul Revere’s house and don’t forget Quincy Market, home to trendy boutiques, cafes and restaurants.
Day 9: Newport, Rhode Island
Famous as a holiday playground for America’s wealthiest families in the 19th century, Newport offers miles of great beaches and is known today as the yachting capital of the world.Take a stroll along the impressive Cliff Walk, an oceanside path that offers stunning views.
Day 10: New York to Niagara Falls
Disembark in New York this morning and fly to Buffalo from where you are transferred to the 4-star Hilton Niagara Falls Hotel for 2 nights.
Day 11: Niagara Falls
Witness this marvellous natural spectacle as millions of gallons of water cascade over a 180 foot sheer drop. Make time to see the American & Bridal Veil Falls on the Americanside, as well as the most impressive Horseshoe Falls on the Canadian side. Get up close to the thundering spray with a thrilling boat ride, see the most impressive views from the Observation Towers and for a bird’s eye view take a helicopter ride right over the Falls.
Days 12 & 13: Niagara Falls to the UK
Transfer to Buffalo airport for the overnight return flight to the UK. |
