YOUR ITINERARY
Days 1 & 2: UK to Beijing
Fly overnight to Beijing and transfer
to the 4-star Xinqiao Novotel Hotel for 3
nights.
Day 3: Beijing
Enjoy an included full day tour of Tiananmen
Square and the Forbidden City with a visit to
the Temple of Heaven. This evening there
will be a delicious Peking Duck Dinner.
Day 4: Great Wall and Ming Tombs
Stretching over 3,000 miles, the Great Wall is
one of the wonders of the world. Walk along
part of this impressive structure at Mutianyu
and visit the Ming Tombs, the last resting place
of the Ming Emperors. Enjoy a performance at
the Peking Opera this evening.
Day 5: Beijing to Xian
Visit Beijing’s Summer Palace before flying to
Xian for 2 nights at the 4-star Bell Tower Hotel.
Day 6: Xian
A highlight of your tour will be today’s visit to
the Terracotta Warriors. Visits to the Big Wild
Goose Pagoda and the Grand Mosque are also
included. This evening enjoy a Tang Dynasty
Show with a traditional Dumpling Dinner. |

Day 7: Xian to Chongqing
Visit Xian’s City Wall before flying to
Chongqing to board your 4-star river cruiser
in time for the 9pm sailing.
Days 8 & 9: Yangtze River Cruise
Discover the true beauty of the mighty
Yangtze River and the mystical Three Gorges.
Day 10: Yichang to Shanghai
Visit the site of the Three Gorges Dam, the
largest construction project in the world before
disembarking in Yichang after lunch. Fly
to Shanghai for 3 nights at the 4-star Galaxy
Hotel.
Days 11 & 12: Shanghai
A full day’s sightseeing includes the Jade
Buddha Temple, Yu Yuan Gardens and the
famous Bund. The second day is free.
Day 13: Shanghai to the UK
Transfer to the airport for the return flight to
